Daniëlle Florijn

Legal assistant
Daniëlle completed her Master’s degree in European Criminal Justice in a Global Context at Utrecht University in 2025. In her thesis, she examined whether the treatment of migrants at the European Union’s external borders could be classified as human trafficking under European criminal law.

In addition to her focus on Dutch and European criminal law, she studied international criminal law at the University of Vienna during an exchange semester.

Throughout her studies, she worked as a volunteer legal adviser at the Women’s Legal Advice Centre in Nijmegen. There, she drafted legal advice and developed her expertise across several areas of law. She gained experience in the field of law during a legal internship at an international law firm.

Daniëlle has been part of the JahaeRaymakers team as a legal assistant since May 2026.
