Miranda provides legal assistance to both natural persons and companies in the field of financial-economic criminal law. In addition, Miranda advises on compliance issues, for example with regard to the obligations of companies arising from anti-money laundering regulations (Wwft).

Miranda graduated from Leiden University (2020), where she obtained both the Master in Criminal Law and the Master in Crime and Criminal Justice (both with distinction). During her studies, Miranda participated in the Honours track of the Faculty of Law of Leiden University and studied at the University of Edinburgh. In addition to her studies, she gained experience at renowned law firms and the judiciary.

Miranda has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): 'environmental criminal law', 'financial economic criminal law' and 'environmental law'. Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

In 2021, Miranda was sworn in as a lawyer. She worked at an Amsterdam law firm where she exclusively assisted and advised companies and natural persons in the field of financial-economic criminal law. Miranda joined JahaeRaymakers in July 2022.
