We Support

The Julia Kids Foundation was founded in the name of Julia: an inspiring young woman with Down Syndrome. The foundation creates opportunities to children at a disadvantage. Children such as the 20 boys (between 4 and 18 years old) who live in the Sunlight Kids House for Boys in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam. These boys are taken from the streets by police: some are orphans, some got separated from their parents or ended up in the streets for various other reasons. When there’s a spot available, the boys are taken in by the orphanage.

They live together, are well taken care of, well fed and guided. The boys attend a local school and dental and medical care is provided for. 

Every donated penny is transferred directly to the boys, apart from bare minimum administrative costs. The foundation guarantees funding the Sunlight House until the end of 2021. A concrete and direct form of giving back!
